PS-4 Construct the flow diagram
The flow diagram should cover all steps in the operation for a specific product, including those that occur prior to and following the in-house process. Inputs (raw materials, packaging, water, air, processing aids) and outputs (intermediate, finished, waste, rework) should be shown.
The same flow diagram may be used for a number of products that are manufactured using similar processing steps. Process timing, temperature parameters, and steps where the product is exposed to the environment should be captured.
